Beau R. Pichon joined our firm after previously practicing law in the areas of bankruptcy, welfare and pension plan representation, business law, and civil litigation. Mr. Pichon concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law and contracts. In addition to conducting real estate settlements, Mr. Pichon drafts and reviews contracts and other real estate related documents and assists clients with complex real estate matters such as tax-deferred exchanges and mortgage debt forgiveness ("short sales").
Mr. Pichon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University in 1999 and his Juris Doctorate degree in 2002 from the Washington College of Law at American University. While in law school, he interned with the Anti-Piracy Division of the Recording Industry Association of America and participated in the Washington College of Law's Civil Practice Clinic, one of the top three clinical programs in the country. Mr. Pichon is admitted to practice law before all District of Columbia, Maryland, and West Virginia state courts, as well as the United States District Courts and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Maryland and the Southern District of West Virginia. He is a member of the Maryland, West Virginia, and District of Columbia State Bar Associations.
